The Mountain Lions defeated Chadron State 66-57 on Feb. 13 at the Gallogly Events Center. Junior Chris Fernandez led the team in scoring with 15 points while junior Brent Jones contributed with 14 points. With two must-win victories over the weekend, UCCS has released the pressure in obtaining the final playoff spot in the East Division of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
