Attendees were instructed to go back to their cars until the lightning stopped, but they did not move in a mad rush.

K.Flay's performance was riddled with technical difficulties after anticipation built on stage, and then lightning interrupted the performance. Yet, K.Flay still proved that girls can rap too.

K. Flay said that the moment she stepped on stage, she felt a "positive energy." Originally from San Francisco, she said she enjoyed Colorado and its openness to a music.

Originally beginning her music career in college and doing it "just for fun," she started rapping at a few shows and commi ed to her music career later on. Her latest album "Mashed Potatoes" showcases her muscial abilities in a smooth, electro- pop rap.

This segment began as K.Flay explained that she likes to "chop songs into new ones." Then, the crowd was shocked at "heavy CROSS OUT," in which the lyrics sang "cruel, cruel world" while K.Flay rapped and mixed at the same time.

The highlight of the show was when K.Flay challenged the crowd to see how fast she could rap. K.Flay did not disappoint as every member of the crowd's jaw dropped at speeds comparable to those of Tech N9ne.

Then she took the crowd to outer space with "supa dupaFLYING" and everyone took a trip to the hype, electronic beats.

Unfortunately, the concert was interrupted right before her occapella act when a lightning delay was called.
