OSA's recent challenge invokes the holiday spirit in more ways than one. With a theme motivated by Dr. Seuss and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," this year's float designs call on creativity, a love of rhyming and a willingness to dress the part. The designs must be coupled with costumes, as mentioned, and are due no later than Nov. 15. A sketch of the float and a list of supplies are also needed. The winning float will not only be built, but also entered in the Festival of Lights Parade. On top of this, the winner will also win two tickets to the Trans Siberian Orchestra, playing on Dec. 23. Additional prizes will be given for both second and third places. Questions regarding design requirements can be directed to Michelle Wood at mwood4@uccs.edu
